Marcus+Thasanee | March 21, 2009

So I am officially announcing that I am getting married (back on again) this Saturday March 21. This is going to be a low key wedding with very few friends and family attending. Marcus and I realized the best thing for us would be to get married on the date that we want and that we have been planning for a year. We are using our non-refundable deposit to pay for the least expensive wedding.

With that said, I’d LOVE for anyone who wants to, to watch this wedding live on the internet. Just go to www.littlechapel.com on March 21st at 12:30 PM PST (PST is three hours behind EST, and 2 behind MST?) and click on Guests > Make sure you are on March 21 and then scroll down and find “McGuffey…” and viola you should be able to watch! I am trying to get where I can have it playing for more than just the one time but try to be there at the time designated so you can watch!

This will be my last post until after our honeymoon, so I hope you all can watch and I will definitely post TONS of pictures and TONS of blogging when I get back!

But Wedding plans are still happening! It’s almost two more months away! I can’t believe it! So, let me update everyone!

1. I’ve bought my dress. I absolutely love it.

2. I’ve finished paying the ceremony charges which includes the photography package, florists, and other incidentals.

3. I’ve sent out my invitations. RSVPs are due back by January 30.

4. Made big changes to the “reception” details to follow.

Other than that, I’m just getting antsy and trying to get a load of everything that I need to have done. There’s so much! I can’t believe it’s so close!

So, the time is fastly approaching! My invitations are DONE! I am just waiting to send them off! (Sometime early in January). I am getting more excited as the days go on. It’s almost surreal to believe that all this will be happening soon!

So Marcus got a new job as a store manager, however, his boss said that doing our wedding might be a problem. I already told Marcus that he needs to fight on the actual wedding date because that WILL not be neogotiated. However, we are probably going to have to neogotiate with the honeymoon :( It really really really sucks but for the sake of him not losing his job over something like this, it doesn’t seem like it is worth it. It’s not like we can’t do a “honeymoon” later. So while it sucks, it’ll have to happen probably. blah.

Other than that, plans are running smoothly, I need to rebuy my dress soon. If I can’t do a honeymoon I figure I can spend more towards the wedding :D I really want to have a wonderful day so I hope that I can given the new circumstances. Well other than that, nothing much as been new or different. Just be looking out for those invitations! :)

(This is mostly to my guests)

So I was looking at Vegas.com and on there prices for hotels are above $100 for hotels on the strip. Off  the strip is under, but who wants to stay off the strip? Unless you’re okay with that of course :D

So my advice, if you are coming to my wedding…Book Now! Or find roommates or something! I don’t want this to be a reason for you not to come! :)
